William R. Moore College of Technology is now offering the

ASSOCIATE of APPLIED TECHNOLOGY DEGREE

The associate degree is available to any student in the day programs of:

  • Air Conditioning & Heating
  • Industrial Electricity
  • Machine Shop
    •
Students enrolled in the associate degree program will have their clock hour credits converted to trimester hour credits. Upon successful completion of the two year trade program and the 15 hours of general education students will be awarded the associate degree.

General Education Courses will include:
Technical Writing 3 credit hrs
Professional Development 3 credit hrs
Business Concepts 3 credit hrs
Technical Physics 3 credit hrs
Math for Technicians 3 credit hrs
Total . 15 credit hrs

(One General Education Course will be offered each semester.)

Important: ALL associate degree students MUST be high school graduates or have a GED. General education courses taken at other accredited post secondary schools may be transferable toward the degree requirements. The purpose of this degree program is to better empower you to succeed in your selected trade. The associate degree is not designed for transfer toward other degree programs.
