William R. Moore College of Technology is organized to operate eleven months in each year. A full time day student is awarded a diploma after completion of required hours. Each year is divided into three terms of approximately 14 weeks each. A Fall Term normally begins the first of September and continues until the Christmas holidays, the Winter Term starts the first of January until the middle of April and the Spring Term normally begins the middle of April until the end of July. Day Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 3:30 p.m. five days per week. (Monday-Friday). Program length is measured in clock hours, with all day school programs, except Computer Operation & Repair and Welding, requiring two years full-time study or approximately 2400 clock hours for a Diploma. Computer Operation & Repair and Welding diplomas are awarded after some 1200 hours or one year of full-time study.
