Moore Tech Diploma Program

Moore Tech operates 11 months of the year. The year is divided into three terms (trimesters) of approximately 14 weeks each.

• Fall Trimester normally begins early in September and continues until the Christmas holidays.
• The Winter Trimester extends from early in January to the middle of April.
• The Spring Trimester normally extends from the middle of April until the end of July.

Day Classes are held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. five days a week. (Monday-Friday). Program length is measured in clock-hours, with all-day school programs, except Welding. Welding diplomas are awarded after some 1,200 hours or one year of full-time study.

Moore Tech Certificate Program

Night school programs qualify only for certificates, with six terms or 504 clock-hours required for each program, except Maintenance Technology and Welding, which only meets for three terms, or 252 clock-hours. Night classes meet two nights per week, on either a Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday schedule.
