 Our machine shop course provides one with technical knowledge
and fundamental experience necessary to perform machine shop work. Students learn the
skillful use of blueprints, hand tools and machines required to make quality parts from
metal.
The purpose of the course is to give one a basic training in the
operation of machine tools and to help him/her understand the latest machining processes.
A technician in the machine shop trade should have sound work habits and knowledge of
mathematics and blueprint reading.
CURRICULUM
Our training is designed so that the student gets the experience of actually performing
in a working machine shop. Each student is given increasingly more challenging assignments
according to his/her individual progress and ability. Therefore, the resourceful student
may accelerate according to the skills they have learned.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of this program is to provide the student with a working knowledge in the
field of the machinist. The mission also includes creating within the student, the hands
